Have you ever thought about which car company owned which? Surprisingly, many car companies own other car companies, but you would never know this because car companies have kept them separated.
So who is who: Which car company owns what?
- Fiat owns: Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Ferrari, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Ram, and SRT.
- Ford Motor Company owns: Lincoln and a small stake in Mazda.
- General Motors owns: Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC.
- Hyundai is parent company to: Genesis, IONIQ as well as part-parent of Kia. In 2016, Genesis is a separate company from Hyundai.
- Toyota Motor Company owns: Lexus, Scion, Daihatsu, and Hino Motors, with a stake in Fuji Industries (Subaru's parent company) and Isuzu.
